In the South Hams we enjoy a productive and beautiful landscape. But the future is fragile.

Labour on South Hams District Council will work to:

• develop a plan for a carbon neutral South Hams by 2030
• encourage local production and supply
• ensure that today’s farming and tourism are sustainable into the future
• put sustainability and energy efficiency at the heart of the planning process
• encourage recycling initiatives and reverse the privatisation of waste collection services
• support cycling, car sharing, and community transport
• support community stewardship projects
