UNIVERSAL CREDIT – NEED LOCAL HELP ?

This leaflet is to provide information for those of you who need to apply for benefits, Universal Credit etc and need to know the availability of access to computers and informed digital support.
Computers are available at:
- South Hams District Council at Follaton House Plymouth Road Totnes TQ9 5NE in reception area.
Some help with setting up digital access – email etc. 09:00 – 17:00 01803 861234
- Job Centre Plus: Follaton House Computers. Help with forms limited. Document verification available.
Weekdays 09:00 – 17:00 closed each day 12:30 – 13:30 Opens Wed. At 10:00
- Community Chest Townstal Community Hall Davis Road Dartmouth Fridays 12:00 – 15:00
- Library The Flavel Dartmouth TQ6 9ND 4 + computers free access for members. Join library on the spot. Can book. Mon/Wed/Sat 09:00 to 13:00 Tues/Fri to 17:00 Thurs. to 18:00 0345 1551001

- New claims should currently be made at South Hams District Council Follaton House Totnes 01803 861234.
- Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) Follaton House Plymouth Road Totnes Help available after initial claim is made. Appointment necessary 03444 111 444 (southhamscab.org.uk)
- CAB Mayors Ave Clinic, Dartmouth Tuesdays 9:30 – 12:30 Claimants can request a home visit from a Locality Officer to help complete UC claim form if unable to attend the Job Centre.
- CAB Town Hall Ilbert Road Kingsbridge. Tuesdays 09:30– 12:30
- 1 – 1 help sessions available from Citizens Advice Bureau with ongoing claims, once transition to UC made , with financial budgeting (PBS).
- Dartmouth Caring: Victoria Rd Dartmouth (opposite Doctor) Assistance in making a claim, by appointment. 09:00 to 14:00 weekdays 01803 835384
